Permit Information for Full-time Staff & Part-time Continuing Staff
Please note your employment status as permit information and cost varies. If you have any questions regarding your status, contact Human Resources. Staff may park only in lots designated as GOLD parking lots [Lots 1, 2, 3B, 6, 7, 9 (east), 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 24, 27, 28, 35, 37 (east) and 38]. Please refer to a campus map for these locations. Typically, permit parking is enforced in these lots from 8:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Fridays (please verify with signs posted in these lots). However, parking on weekends and evening parking is NOT permitted in Lot 18 after 10:00 p.m. As well, free evening parking is not permitted in the following gold lots: 12, 15, 21, 35 and 38.
Parking in student lots, on roadways or in fire routes will not be tolerated and violators will be ticketed and/or towed.
*Full Time Staff *Applies to Waterloo Campus ONLY
New Full Time Staff may apply for a parking permit online by completing the application below. Please note that you will not be granted a permit if there are outstanding parking fines on your account or on a plate that you register. Your permit will be available for pick up within one (1) business day. If you would like your permit sent to you through inter-office mail, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Full Time Staff pay for their permit through payroll deduction (amount deducted may vary depending on pay schedule).
*Part-Time Continuing Staff *Applies to Waterloo Campus ONLY
Part Time Continuing Staff are those who work less than 24 hours per week on an on-going basis. New Part Time Continuing Staff may apply for a parking permit online by completing the application below. Please note that you will not be granted a permit if there are outstanding parking violations on the vehicle(s) you register. Your permit will be available for pick up within one (1) business day. If you would like your permit sent to you through inter-office mail, please send an email to email@example.com. Part Time Continuing Staff pay for their permit through payroll deduction (amount deducted may vary depending on pay schedule).
To apply for either a Full-time or Part-time parking permit, please follow directions below;
*PLEASE ensure you have not previously ceased your valid parking permit before you proceed with this application.
Also, this application is NOT for contract positions, you must be full-time or part-time continuing to apply online.
1.) Go to www.wluparking.com and select "View my parking account".
2.) Log in with your Laurier Network login credentials.
3.) Should your account have outstanding parking violations payment in full must be processed prior to ordering a permit. Payment can be processed online and you will be required to complete check out and log back in to process your order.
4.) Select "Order a Permit".
5.) Permit tab will appear, select permit type. If more than one permit option appears please renew the same permit as your currently posses.

G R; Reserved Permit for the Waterloo campus.
Select "Next" (bottom right corner)
6.) Vehicle Tab will appear, input or edit vehicle information, select "Next" (if vehicle model is not a selection option, please write model in comments section.)
7.) Delivery Tab will appear, permits will be sent via inter-office mail, please ensure you put your office location in the comments tab. If you prefer to pick up at the Parking office at 202 Regina St. please select pick-up. Select "Next".
8.) Comments Tab will appear, input your office location and vehicle model if necessary.
9.) Add permit to cart and complete check out.
10.) you should receive a confirmation email indicating you have completed the process correctly. Please allow 3-4 business days for your permit to arrive inter-office mail.

Ceasing your parking deductions for Full-time Staff or Part-time Continuing Staff (Waterloo)
*** If you NO LONGER REQUIRE your permit due to termination or a university sanctioned leave (layoff, maternity or medical leave) greater than three (3) months, to cease parking deductions, you must complete the Cease Payroll Form AND return your parking permit to our office. Parking and Transportation Resources must have the completed form and your permit to cease payroll deductions. If both the form and the permit are not received, deductions will not be ceased and you will continue to be charged your parking and be invoiced for those charges by the University.
Please Note; Parking and Transportation Resources does not determine the exact date that your parking deductions will cease. If you are paid monthly, the Payroll department will cease your deductions at the end of the month. If you are paid-bi-weekly, the Payroll department will cease your deductions at the end of the next pay period. Payroll will not prorate deductions.
Permit Renewal for Full-time Faculty/Staff and Part-time Continuing Staff; (Waterloo)
Permit Renewal for Full-time Faculty/Staff and Part-time continuing staff; Parking deductions do not automatically cease when your permit expires. Payroll simply does a “rollover” of deductions. Thus, if you choose to not re-new your parking permit during the upcoming March 2015 renewal period, you must complete the Cease Payroll Form or deductions will not be ceased and you will continue to be charged for parking.
Part Time Contract Staff (Waterloo Only)
Part Time Contract Staff are those who work less than 24 hours per week on a limited, pre-determined basis. New Part Time Contract Staff may apply for a parking permit at the Parking and Transportation Resources Office at 202 Regina, 2nd Floor R237. Please note you will not be granted a permit if there are outstanding parking violations on the vehicle(s) you register. Part-Time Contract Staff pay for their parking permit upfront on a per-term basis. Once your permit expires, it may be destroyed or returned to our office.
If your permit has been lost or stolen;
If your permit is lost or stolen, please contact Sue Dawson at ext. 3697 OR the Parking Office immediately to alert us of the situation.The Parking Office or Service Laurier, upon receiving payment of the $50.00 replacement fee, can then issue you a new permit and the old permit will then be made inactive. Please note; If you wish to cease your parking deductions but have lost your permit, you will need to purchase a replacement permit in order for us to process your request.
