TEMPORARY ACCESSIBLE PERMITS FOR FACULTY & STAFF
Temporary accessible parking permits may be issued by Parking & Transportation Resources when there is a need for short term accessible parking. Permits will be issued on the basis on one (1) day to a maximum of three (3) months and are valid for use in any accessible parking space on campus regardless of lot type.
Please complete the Faculty & Staff Temporary Accessible Parking Permit Request Form (found under "Forms") and contact the AODA & Employment & Equity Advisor in the Diversity & Equity office at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your need for temporary accessible parking.
Please Note; Faculty & Staff requesting temporary accessible aprking must still hold a valid Gold permit in addition to their temporary accessible permit in order to park on campus; therefore the fee of a Gold permit applies.
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) also provides temporary accessible parking permits (for lengths of 2 months to 1 year) that can be issued anywhere in the province, including Laurier. If you would prefer to obtain a temporary MTO accessible parking permit please visit the MTO website at http://www.ontario.ca/page/get-accessible-parking-permit. By displaying a valid Gold (or Reserved) permit and an MTO issued Accessible Parking Permit, you are also able to park in any accessible space on campus, regardless of lot type.
