Feedback from Languages & Literatures

In the Dept. of Languages and Literatures--Spanish Section--we have been using CD-ROMS for the teaching of language since 1996. This tool has allowed us to make classes much more interactive, creating a completely different dynamic in the classroom. Students have responded in a very positive manner to the variation of teaching techniques used in SP100.

In 1999-2000, we are going to be incorporating a much more advanced program to the Beginners courses in Spanish (SP100, 101, 102), and to the Intermediate courses (SP201, 202, 261-262) The material has been researched and studied in order to be applied in the most pedagogical manner and trying to obtain the most out of it. The advanced level of the multimedia material to be incorporated in our classes will allow us--faculty and students--to obtain the highest level of communication, being this one either oral or written, in the target language. We are looking forward to this exciting material.
