Medieval Students' Society

The Medieval Students' Society at WLU is comprised of a group of students
who are passionate about the Middle Ages. Like the Medieval Studies Program,
we are relatively new to the Laurier community; our membership is currently
about 20 members. Registration as a Medieval Studies major is not required,
just an interest in the Middle Ages.  Our aim as a campus club is to promote
the field of Medieval Studies both within WLU and also in the wider
community and to provide an enjoyable, interactive and academic forum for
current and prospective students of Medieval Studies. Events that we hold
throughout the academic year include  the Royal Medieval Faire in Waterloo
Park, medieval movie nights, chain mail workshop by Blackthorn Productions,
a medieval potluck dinner historical sewing group, medieval dance lesson,
trip to Medieval times, a medieval fencing workshop and much more!
