KW Urban Harvesters

KW Urban Harvesterís initiative is to transform urban green spaces into anything sustainably edible. They seek to educate ourselves and others on how to grow food in urban settings, preserve the harvested vegetables and seeds, and the basics of how to make a potential profit out of urban farming. They practice a sharing backyards/SPIN farming model which means that community members freely lend us their urban space to grow food in return for a small return of the harvest. Laurier provides a spot at St. Michael's. For more information, please visit their website
