Laurier is committed to making alternative transportation options available to staff, faculty and students.

Public demands on transportation and reliance on fossil fuels present major environmental challenges. The use of motor vehicles that rely on fossil fuels is one of the most harmful contributing factors to air pollution, with certain by-products such as carbon dioxide contributing to global climate change. Alternative methods of transportation, such as bicycling, walking, and public transportation, are more sustainable and are becoming an increasing priority.

Learn about the importance of alternative transportation and how you can choose more sustainable commuting options at Laurier. Check out the presentation below to learn about how our transportation choices can play a big part in living more sustainably.
