EMPLOYEE SERVICE DESK
The Employee Service Desk will be devoted to faculty and staff ITS support and service requests, including support for account issues, GroupWise email support and software and hardware service requests. Every attempt will be made to resolve callers' issues during the initial phone call. If the request cannot be resolved at first contact,it will then be logged as a service request and the most appropriate local ITS support staff member at each campus will respond directly.

There is now a password change link for Banner Passwords. If you require your Banner Password to be reset, you must complete this FORM. Your new password can be emailed to your WLU email account.
For new Novell/GroupWise account creations, you are no longer required to sign the form and pick up the account at the ITS Help Desk. The new form requires users to check the box to acknowledge they are responsible for the account. ITS will email the username and passwords to the external email address provided. This is only for Novell/GroupWise.
There is also a new FORM Novell/GroupWise password changes. When the password is reset, ITS will leave the new password in the users voicemail box.
If the user does not have a voicemail box, ITS will contact the department to find an alternative means of contact for this person.
The ITS Help Desk will still reset passwords if you visit their location on the third floor of Bricker Academic and present proper ID.
Faculty and staff must complete a Login Request Form to obtain computer accounts.
New staff who participate in an orientation/sign-up interview in Human Resources will complete a Login Request Form at that time. The userid and password for these accounts will be mailed to staff.
An Account Request Form may be completed online. The userid and password for these accounts will be available at the ITS Help Desk (Library). You will be required to present a photo ID and to sign the Login Request Form at the ITS Help Desk. Every effort will be made to have userid(s)/password(s) available one business day following submission of the online form.
A Guest Wireless Access Form is also available online. Guest wireless service is intended for guests of the university which may include visiting professors, professional colleagues, conference delegates, contractors with university. Access is not intended for the general public, POS vendors or students from other universities. Student attending Laurier or registered in a double degree program should use their MyLaurier account to access Laurier Wi-FI or Laurier Wireless. Guests must be sponsored by a Laurier faculty member, a Laurier staff member, or a member of the WLUSU executive.
