Where to study on the Brantford campus
With Laurier’s exam period in full swing, students flock to campus looking for places to study. Below is a guide to the hours of study spaces on the Brantford campus.
Please note: all university buildings (excluding Student Centre) will be closed April 18 (Good Friday).
Brantford Public Library
Regular hours throughout exam period.
Closed April 18, April 20-21 (Easter weekend).
Open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. April 19.
24-hour access with OneCard (including Easter Weekend).
Space available: first floor lounge, second floor lounge, study hall (basement multipurpose room).
SC Johnson Building
Open until 10 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 5 p.m. on Friday.
Space available: first floor atrium, second floor landing/lounge, second floor boardroom, third floor boardroom, basement lounge.
Research and Academic Centre West
Open until 10 p.m Monday – Friday.
Space available: main lobby, third floor boardrooms, basement waiting area outside RCW 004, Golden Grounds Coffee.
The following buildings are open during the day, Monday-Friday. Closing times vary. All buildings closed April 18 (Good Friday).
Research and Academic Centre East
Space available: main lobby, second floor area outside elevators, boardroom (RCE217), third floor common area.
Space available: CB 106 boardroom, lounge area (basement/first floor), main foyer, second floor.
Nipissing – Darling
Space available: lobby, basement common area, basement lounge space.
Nipissing – Wellington
Space available: student lounge (second floor), study area (basement).
Space available: lobby, basement landing, basement common area.
Space available: lobby/hallway (minimal seating).
