Congratulations to Madhu Kalimipalli and Subh Nayak

Research team consisting of Dr. Madhu Kalimipalli and Dr. Nayak Subhankar (both from Laurier's School of Business & Economics), with Dr. Latha Ramchand from the University of Houston, have been awarded the NSE-NYU Stern grant of $7,500. Dr. Kalimipalli is the principal investigator on this grant. 

The NSE-NYU Stern Initiative on the Study of Indian Capital Markets is a newly formed joint venture of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and the Salomon Center for the Study of Financial Institutions at NYU Stern School of Business. Results from the study will be presented at a special research conference at the NSE, Mumbai, India at the end of July. The inititaive funded six projects from over 50 applicants around the world. Each grant has been awarded $7,500 plus paid for travel expenses to attend the conference. Finalists include academics from the Wharton School, Edhec Business School, the University of Maryland, Georgia State, amongst others.
