Students of German celebrate "Karneval"

Students of GM 111, last semester's German drama students and the German Culture Society gathered to celebrate the crazy rites of "Faschingsdienstag", the last day of "Karneval".

Among the prominent guests:

The "thinkers" 
the mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss, Karl Marx and Sigmund Freud

From the glamorous world of fashion:
Loeb "Levi" Strauss and Carl Lagerfeld

From the sphere of, music,composition and fine arts:
Joseph Haydn, Paul Klee, W.A. Mozart with his daughter, the "Königin der Nacht, Johannes Brahms, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Carl Reinecke, Arnold Schoenberg and ... of course Richard Z. Kruspe from Rammstein.

From the world of literature:
Jacob Grimm with his children Hänsel, Gretel, Rapunzel and Frau Holle, the beloved fictional characters Heidi and Kater Mikesch and the writers Franz Kafka and Günther Grass.

From the world of sports:
Oliver Kahn and Babett Peter (soccer), Steffi Graf (tennis), Monika Dannemann (figure skating), Birgit Fischer (Kanu), and Michael Schumacher (car racing).  

From the political and heavenly sphere:
König Ludwig II von Bayern and Nikolaus
This colourful crowd was joined, among many others, by Miss Pakistan, the heartbreaking clown, two Canadian "Holzfäller", and a mysterious man called "Hermann", whose identity could  never be lifted ...
Who else was there of name and rank? Hugo de Marinis, Laura Mosco, Eveline Escoto with her "German" husband and the understudy of Else Lasker-Schüler ....
