Reminisce about your Laurier days with Fred Nichols, dean of students emeritus, host of the Legends of Laurier Lecture Series. Our 2013 lecturer is Professor Emeritus of English and Film Studies, Dr. Paul Tiessen.

Slide Presentation of students/alumni, a short film made by FS students about the program and some reminiscing from selected alumni.

Coffee House: A Showcase of Creative Arts

Join writers Tanis MacDonald (poetry) and Tamas Dobozy (short fiction, winner of Rogers Writers Trust Prize 2012) and local Waterloo region writers. Here is a chance to hear some great poets and read your creative pieces to an appreciative audience! Anyone intending to read literary pieces - poems, songs and short fiction - should email Dr. MacDonald with a short bio. Readings/Performances are limited to 5 minutes each.
