Seeking Stories from Students who have been Abroad

From: The Big Guide to Living and Working Overseas

Jul 20/12

The BIG Guide to Living and Working Overseas! is currently getting a major makeover - and as part of our brand new site (MyWorldAbroad), we'll be launching a blog profiling students and young professionals with international experience.

MyWorldAbroad's new blog wants to hear about experiences abroad. For those students who have traveled, worked, studied, interned, or volunteered in another country, this is their chance to share knowledge (and anecdotes) with a community of internationally-oriented, motivated young people.

How does it work?

Visit to access a short series of questions geared towards experience abroad. Once participants have put together their answers, they hunt down a few great photos from their time abroad - and fire it all off to the MyWorldAbroad editors.

One student profile will be featured in each week of the school year, and we will try to publish as many of the submitted entries as possible.

What do I get in return?

Stories will be featured on the MyWorldAbroad blog, which is pretty cool! In addition, The first 25 published contributors will also receive a $25 mini-honorarium as our way of saying thanks.

Is there a deadline?

The deadline for the first round of profiles is August 10, 2012. This is an ongoing series, so we'll accept submissions any time - but we're currently compiling our first round of profiles, so don't delay!
