SPEAK Program Starting Again For Winter Semester

Jan 14/14

The SPEAK program are weekly sessions designed to assist Laurierís International students to be successful through building their speaking and listening skills. Through fun and engaging games and discussions, students can develop the critical skills needed to be successful both academically and socially.

On top of getting the skills and experience, students may also add SPEAK to their Co-Curricular Record (CCR) if they attend 5 of the 7 sessions. The CCR is a validated list of activities that a student has engaged in while here at Laurier. It can be used as a supplementary addition to job applications and provides a proof of skills gained through volunteer and extracurricular experiences at Laurier.
