Bryan Burton donates funds towards new computers for Master's students
Bryan Burton, retired from the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, is the first donor to equip a Graduate Study Work Room in the Woods Building (DAWB 5111) with new computers. The badly outdated, failing equipment has been a challenge for our Graduate Students. With new matching equipment, it is expected that a majority of the struggles will be overcome.
Mr. Burton is not a stranger to Laurier. He has been a guest speaker at our Waterloo and Brantford campuses, and has worked with alumni in the past on projects in Uganda. He was a former High Commissioner in Uganda and Jamaica, and has been an electoral observer in Ethiopia, Northern Transvaal and South Africa. Many thanks Bryan for your support of the MA in Sociology and MA in CAST programs!
