Laurier’s Centre for Women in Science celebrates International Women’s Day with fun activities for all ages

Members of the Laurier community and the public are invited to celebrate International Women’s Day with Wilfrid Laurier University’s Centre for Women in Science (WinS) on Saturday, March 8.
Taking place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Science Building Atrium on Laurier’s Waterloo campus, the fun-filled afternoon will feature science demos, hands-on activities and interactive games.
The event is free, but participants are asked to register online.
The afternoon’s activities are arranged and sponsored by WinS, the University of Waterloo’s Institute for Quantum Computing, the Kitchener Public Library, Desire2Learn, Kwartzlab, Diyode, Savvy Planet, Nerd Nite KW, Brick Works Academy and more.
