BiographyAcademic Interests: history of social theory, social inequality, political sociology, sociology of knowledge.
Ken Morrison joined the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Laurier in 1989. He teaches classical sociological theory and sociology of crime and deviance. His interests include history of social theory, theories of the state, sociology of knowledge and history of written literacy. His most recent publication is entitled Marx, Durkheim and Weber: Formations of Modern Social Thought, published by Sage (1995).
