Sapna Isotupa is a Professor of Operations and Decision Sciences at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University. Dr. Isotupa received her PhD in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India. Her primary research interest is in the area of mathematical modeling of stochastic systems. Her current research topics include stochastic inventory systems, queueing systems and workforce management. Her research project on customer differentiation in inventory systems is supported by funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC). Dr. Isotupa’s papers have appeared in a variety of journals including Stochastic Models, IIE Transactions, Naval Research Logistics and Operations Research Letters.
