Cheryl Harvey retired in 2008. She was an Associate Professor in Wilfrid Laurier University’s School of Business and Economics. She is a past Director of Undergraduate Business Programs and Co-ordinator of the Management and Organizational Behaviour Area Group. She has designed and taught graduate and undergraduate business courses in organizational change, the management of nonprofit organizations, organizational design, and human resource management.
Cheryl is a member of the Community University Research Alliance project, Partnerships for Children and Families, which is investigating the experiences of participants in child welfare and children’s mental health systems. The workplace studies focus on determinants of workers' stress, their job satisfaction, and their intentions to leave or to stay with their employing organization.
