Academic InterestsI am a Canadian historian with special interests in social and cultural history, rural life, and the province of Ontario. My regular undergraduate course offerings include History 117/118 (North American History), History 339 (Ontario History Since 1791), and History 480 (Twentieth-Century Canada). I am currently working on a book-length study of the relationship between rural and urban Ontario, and ideas about those places, in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
