Dr. Chunming (Victor) Shi holds a PhD in Operations Management from Washington State University, a Master of Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and double Bachelor degrees in Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Science and Technology of China. He joined the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics as an Assistant Professor in 2007. Currently he is a tenured Associate Professor.
Dr. Shi's main research has been in the areas of Supply Chain Management and Management Science. His research papers have been published by journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Operational Research Society, International Journal of Management Science and IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics. His research has been supported by Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and Chartered Accountants/Laurier Centre. He has supervised one doctoral student, two master students, and several postdoctoral researchers and visiting professors.
