MDRC is an internationally known centre for research of movement disorders - particularly Parkinson's disease - operating under Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario.

We are trying to find answers to questions such as:

  • What causes freezing?
  • How do obstacles affect walking?
  • How does exercise affect Parkinson's symptoms?
  • What factors influence the progression of symptoms of Parkinson's?
  • What can we learn that will assist people living with Parkinson's in their daily activities?
