My research program, funded by NSERC, addresses issues in implicit memory (the effect of memory on performance when people are unaware of using memory). We are investigating several strategies for investigating the automatic memory processes that are used in implicit memory tests (and in all other memory tests), including the process dissociation procedure and our speeded response procedure. Other research, funded by the Ontario Problem Gambling Research Centre, addresses issues in the cognitive aspects of gambling behaviour, including factors that contribute to problem gambling.
