My academic areas of interest include health promotion and the psychology of physical activity. My research applies a social ecological lens to understand individual, environment (social and physical), and policy influences on physical activity across a variety of settings, including schools. A secondary area of interest involves a focus on the built environment and physical activity and obesity.
