Breakthrough Storytelling LAB
Tuesday November 22nd, 2016 7:30-10:00AM
Location: Walterfedy: 675 Queen St S #111, Kitchener, ON, N2M 1A1
In the sustainability world we often rely on data to make our point and can lose our audience in the process. Through storytelling, we can make sense of complex information and create narratives that we can share with others. Storytelling is also how great brands like Patagonia have become embedded in our collective Zeitgeist. In this LAB, you will learn the techniques of great storytelling and apply them to your organizationís sustainability message. This will be a hands on workshop where you will work independently and in small groups to craft compelling narratives that focus on your organization's essential truth and how that brings value to your audience. The focus will be on authenticity, simplicity and emotional engagement to ensure your story stands out and stands the test of time.
Presenter and Facilitator: Howard Chang CEO, Top Drawer Creative Inc.
