Canada’s Leading Sustainable Building: Inspiring Waterloo Region

Join us to learn about Canada's most sustainable building
and local aspirations to surpass its impact. John Robinson will provide an
overview of British Columbia's Centre for Interactive Research on
Sustainability, sharing details of the design and development of
high-performance green buildings, along with the associated intersection of
sustainability, social and technological change, behaviour change, and
community engagement processes. This public event is part of a two-day
symposium of invited experts focusing on the people side of high-performance
buildings. Local representatives will also provide updates on plans for
Waterloo Region's first net-positive multi-tenant office building.
Another Laurier win (that's 4!) at The Aspen Institute's International MBA Business & Society Case Competition
A team of MBA students from Wilfrid Laurier University’s Lazaridis School of Business & Economics once again claimed first place at the Aspen Institute’s 2016 Business and Society International MBA Case Competition April 29. This is the third win in a row for the Lazaridis School and the fourth in the competition’s seven-year history, with previous wins in 2011, 2014 and 2015, and top 10 honorable mentions in 2012 and 2013. This year 25 top MBA schools from 9 countries participated.
The P&G Centre for Business & Sustainability provides financial sponsorship and coaching for Laurier's annual participation in the Aspen Competition.
