Reporting to Financial Resources, Research Finance supports the financial management and administration of research grants and contracts awarded to WLU and its research community as facilitated by the Office of Research Services. Our team is involved in a wide range of functions including financial reporting, compliance oversight, monitoring of expenditures, invoicing and inter-institutional transfers. Working collaboratively with researchers, departments, faculties and the Office of Research Services, we ensure funding is administered in adherence with university policy, granting agency requirements and contract stipulations.

Research Finance Workshops
Faculty members opening a new type of research grant or a first time grant-holder are required to attend one-on-one Research Finance training before the account is opened.
