His primary research areas include applied microeconometrics and applied microeconomic theory in the field of Health Economics. More broadly, Dr. McLeod is interested in how social survey and administrative data, and the application of appropriate parametric and nonparametric econometric methods, can be used to further our understanding of the economics of primary health care. His research has been published in leading academic journals, including the Canadian Journal of Economics, Applied Economics, and the Journal of Health Economics.
