Scott received his PhD from the University of Buffalo (2011) and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Archaeology and Classical Studies at Laurier.  He spent two years as a research fellow at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (2008-2010) and served as the Crake Doctoral Fellow at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick (2010-2011).  As a Roman archaeologist working in Greece, he has been affiliated with excavations at Corinth in the Peloponnese and Gournia on the island of Crete.  He was also a member of the Galatas Survey Project in central Crete.
