Wireless: Guest Wireless Access
Guest wireless service is intended for guests of the university which may include visiting professors, professional colleagues, conference delegates, contractors with university.
Guests must be sponsored by a Laurier Faculty member, a Laurier Staff member, or a member of the WLUSU executive.
The sponsor will be in part responsible to ensure that the guest understands their responsibilities and obligations both legal and regarding university policy while using Laurier ICT services.
The underlying purpose of all resources at Laurier is that every effort should be made to ensure that all resources are used for the primary objective of teaching, learning, research and the support of those efforts.
Access is not intended for the general public, POS vendors or students from other universities.
Student attending Laurier or registered in a double degree program should use their MyLaurier account to access Eduroam.
Guest wireless accounts are only issued for 3 days.
If you require access for a longer period of time, please complete the Faculty and Staff Network Account Request Form and select the option for VendorSponsored Login.
Our Wireless Systems.
Eduroam – is a secure access service for members of the educational and research communities. It allows individuals from a member organization to securely access network services while visiting other member organizations using login credentials from their home organization without making special arrangements.
If your organization is a member of Eduroam, guest wireless access is not necessary.

All requests must be submitted by a current Laurier Staff or Faculty members.
Request should be made 5 business day prior to date needed.
