Did you know? Immigrants and refugees, especially newcomers to Canada, are more likely to become homeless than Canadian-born populations?
  • Do you want to learn about housing issues faced by newcomers?
  • Have you experienced issues accessing affordable housing as a newcomer?
  • Do you want to know more about community resources available for affordable housing in the KW region?
  • Are you a community agency that supports newcomers in locating safe and secure housing?

Please join us as we celebrate artwork created by newcomers that represents their experiences accessing affordable housing in the Kitchener-Waterloo region.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
