Your Online Presence: Using LinkedIn to Promote Your Professional Brand
Date: Nov 27/13
Location: Laurier Toronto Office, The Exchange Tower | 130 King Street West, Toronto
We have all been told not to judge a book by its cover, but what does your LinkedIn profile say about YOU? If you've created an account, are you using it to its fullest?
To be successful with LinkedIn, you need to develop and maintain a personal brand so employers can get to know, like and trust you; only then will they be open to learn more about what you have to offer professionally. Perfecting your personal brand on LinkedIn can be what helps you secure that dream job!
Participants in this workshop will learn about tools and strategies to build their LinkedIn accounts, represent themselves professionally online, and develop complementary networks of like-minded professionals.
Laura Bolton is a Career Consultant at the Waterloo Career Development Centre and a graduate of Laurier's Brantford campus. Prior to starting at Laurier in 2012, Laura worked as an independent consultant and coach, assisting clients to connect with their passions.
