Global Political-Military Issues
This course examines the crucial relationship between political initiative and military power as a lens for understanding how Canada and the international community attempt to deal with global security issues and crises. Focusing on this political-military dimension, major topic areas will include both specific crises - Afghanistan, the Balkans, China, the Middle East, Russia - and issues such as climate change and terrorism.
