The Laurier CEO-in-Residence is an appointed honour by the Dean of the School of Business & Economics, and has been developed to deliver a perspective to students beyond their studies and research in the classroom.
On Friday, January 23, 2015 we welcome our 7th CEO, Aidan Tracey (BBA '91), President of Mosaic. At 11 a.m. in The Turret, Aidan will present a keynote entitled: "The Age of Consumer Empowerment: How new technology and shifting consumer habits are fundamentally altering the ways brands and consumers are connecting. What it means for large companies, agencies, and people seeking to build a career in marketing or sales."

Aidan Tracey is the President of Acosta Mosaic Group (AMG), a North American leader in delivering integrated marketing solutions and world-class insights, ideas and execution to clients across North America. Prior to his current role, Aidan was the CEO of Mosaic Sales Solutions, which at the time of its merger with Acosta employed over 12,000 people in field annually and had offices throughout the USA and Canada.
Aidan brings to AMG extensive experience helping brand marketers combat the growing erosion of traditional forms of mass media by combining Experiential, Digital, PR & Social Media, and Retail Marketing to reach consumers.
In addition to steering the vision of AMG, Aidan is an industry thought-leader, participating in dozens of speaking opportunities across North America, including the Grocery Manufacturers Association CEO Executive Conference, The Shopper Marketing Expo, and numerous client events. He is a Distinguished Faculty member of the Path to Purchase Institute.
Aidan's career also includes experience as the Vice President of Digital Media for North America at Labatt-Interbrew (now ABInBev). Throughout his seven-year tenure, he enjoyed a variety of assignments including responsibility for all web based consumer activity and database marketing. Additionally, Aidan held the position of Director of Marketing and Brand Manager for the regional brand portfolio. Prior to joining Labatt, Aidan was a brand manager at Procter & Gamble on such leading products as Crest and Ivory Bar.
